It’s hard to believe that it’s already been six years since the release of Nic Bommarito’s great full-length album, “Harp Fragments”. After taking a much needed month off from releasing, we’re back with another fresh batch of netaudio gems. Even with the month off, it was a bit of a bumpy ride pulling this together. blocSonic is quite proud to present to you the self-titled debut by Richmond, Virginia artist Friends or Whatever. It’s always exciting when I come across an artist who delivers an album that can be enjoyed from beginning to end. It’s even more enjoyable when that artist is completely independent. There’s something to be said for music independence in these days of packaged and repackaged mainstream music product.
